Please contact us if you are interested in this program

We are still looking at what program to offer the skier that has completed T1 (i.e. 14 years and older) but has aspirations that don’t match the T2 and LC programs.  We are considering the introduction of a program that would include basic strength and fitness work starting in September and a weekly ski technique session at COP once the snow flies.  Weekend skis would be coach-suggested but parent co-ordinated; in addition to Kananaskis day trips, this could include hut or hostel stays (Fireweed Hostel http://www.fireweedhostel.com/ next Family Day Long Weekend for example) and loppets.

Some of the COP sessions would include coaching tips and technique for those teens interested in giving back to the Club by helping out with programs for the younger kids.  Please get back to us with your thoughts on what you would like to see in a program like this.  Your feedback is needed in order to make this a success.  This program is tentative only and we need interest from at least 6 athletes to make it a reality.

Please contact Kevin McLean if interested.
