The Biathlon Bears program teaches the basic skills of Biathlon in a safe and fun environment. The overall aim is to build confidence with summer cross training/shooting and provide a fun introduction to fitness-for-life. The summer camps are aimed at young athletes who are looking to learn more about the sport and build up their skills for the fall and winter season.

Over the course of the camps Biathletes will learn target shooting skills, build general ski fitness, participate in fun drills and games, and learn about the sport from local top level athletes. We will cap off each camp with a running Biathlon race with prizes for everyone!

Please note: FNSC will not be providing transportation. Lunches are not provided so please make sure athletes have lots of food and water for the day.

Aug 16: WinSport (COP). 5:00PM-7:00PM

Aug 17: WinSport (COP). 9:00AM – 3:30PM

Aug 18: Canmore Nordic Centre. 9:30AM – 3:30PM

Cost: $100

Includes air rifles, all ammunition, range passes, and instructional costs.

CNC Range Pass cost will be responsibility of participants along with range agreement.
