*** IMPORTANT UPDATES TO RACE SCHEDULE ***
Please note that in the interest of safety the Race Schedule has been revised.
Thursday will now be Skate Sprints for Trials racers. Women will complete the qualifier then all their sprints heats after a rest period. Following the Women’s finals, the men will complete based on the same pattern in order to minimize the number of racers at the venue at one time. This same pattern of running a full set of races by gender for Open and U20 will be used throughout the Trials races.
The Alberta Cup 3 & 4 will now include both classic (interval start) and skate technique (mass start).
These changes will be reflected on the updated Race Notice and Zone4.ca registration. If you have already registered then the Race Secretariate will update your booking accordingly.
Given the lack of indoor facilities and COVID-19 restrictions, all participants are reminded to “Arrive, Train/Compete, Depart” the Canmore Nordic Centre.
Safe travels to Canmore and best of luck in your races.

*** Trials / AB Cup 3 & 4 Update *** Through consultation with Nordiq Canada and Nordiq Alberta the races are planning to proceed. Please see the December 24 Community Update from #NordiqCanada for further details. COVID-19 requirements will continue to be monitored and similar mitigations implemented to safely allow the recent World ParaNordic races will be in place for racers, coaches, and volunteers at these upcoming races.
