Cross Country (XC) Ski Programs – Ages 14-19

  • Team ULLR

    Team ULLR delivers flexible programming options for high performance athletes who want to continue their athletic development beyond high school, while maintaining post-secondary education and/or work commitments. Athletes will benefit from an Integrated Support Team comprised of technique coaches, a physician and a strength consultant. Team ULLR will attend key races within Canada and the United States.

  • Introduction 2 Competition

    *New* Introduction to Competition (I2C) is a late entry to competitive racing program for beginners teenagers with the goal that participants will join our racing program (T1, T2 or LC) in 1-2 years. Athletes will learn the basics of off-season training through activities including: roller skiing, hiking, running, ski striding, strength training, and balance/agility.

  • Learn 2 Ski Ages 12-15

    *NEW* Learn2Ski ages 12-15.  Due to increased demand Foothills is offering a learn to ski program for youth ages 12 to 15.  In order to give them a chance to learn basic nordic ski skills with others of a similar age.  This program will run for approximately 12  weeks, starting in late November.   More details will be available soon

  • LC – XC

    Learn to Compete (LC) is for athletes seeking improvement and refinement in XC skiing. Training sessions and workout modes are specifically catered to meet different athlete needs depending on their development.

  • Teen Ski

    Teen Ski is intended for skiers aged 14+ with prior nordic experience who are interested in skiing for fun, fitness and friendship. *NEW* Participants can register for the Fall Teen Dryland program independent of the On-Snow program.
