Biathlon Night Session 1
March 3, 2020 @ 5:15 pm - 6:00 pm
Attention Jackrabbit, Track Attack, Marmot, and Teen Ski families!
Foothills Nordic’s biathlon groups would like to extend the invitation for your child to try biathlon for a night. We will run two sessions on Tuesday, March 3. Session 1 from 5:15-6pm, and Session 2 from 6:15-7pm. The session is free, and open to kids currently registered in Foothills programs, in Learn to Ski, JR3, JR4, JR+, Track Attack, Marmots, and Teen Ski. By having the sessions before/after current JR programs, kids don’t have to miss their regular lesson in order to come Try Biathlon!
We will be skate skiing and practicing shooting with Eco-Aims rifles. If you don’t have skate skis, skis will be ok too (even better if you take the grip wax off). The Eco-Aims rifles are camera rifles, which means they do not use bullets, and are a very safe option for first-time users.
We will meet at the top of the driving range by the warming trailer, and the sessions will run in our new Biathlon Range area at the end of the driving range. At the end of the session, we will return the kids to where we started, at the top of the hill. We will have coaches and other biathlon kids on hand to run this session. Plan for a fun, active session of shooting and skiing!
