Jackrabbits were at Confederation Park Golf Course on January 6th for the season’s first Terrain Park Day.   Foothills Nordic’s “Terrain Park Master”, Malcolm Lamb, and a few parents put together some jumps and rollers for kids to challenge their skills and have some FUN on skis.  About 40 kids took part on a nice sunny day. Unfortunately, due to the arctic front that came storming in last week – our first week of regular sessions for 2018 – Tuesday was the only day Foothills Nordic could hold Jackrabbits lessons.

Great weather and maybe some “cabin fever” brought a big crew out to Bragg Creek on Saturday, January 13th for our first Family Ski Day of the year.   Close to 50 skiers from the Bunny, Jackrabbit, Track Attack and Marmot-Teen ski groups plus their parents (well over 100 club members), were out for some great skiing on the West Bragg Creek trails.
