Foothills Nordic would like to invite all JackRabbit, JackRabbit Plus, Learn to Ski and Track Attack participants to our Confed Fun Day on February 9th at 10:00AM to 12:30PM at Confederation Park . This event is design to provide a fun environment for our program participants to play on skis in the day light!
For older JackRabbits (JR3 & JR4), JackRabbit Plus and Track Attack skiers Confed Fun Day will include a series of fun competitive activities such as an obstacle course race and team relays. For our younger JackRabbits (JR1 & JR2) and Learn to Ski skiers the activities will be more oriented around group games and skill development on the obstacle course. For all ages there will be a hot chocolate break and parents are encouraged to send a small snack with their kids.
Please register for the event by February 8th at 8PM.
Registration is mandatory for this event to help organizers prepare the competitive events and ensure enough hot chocolate is made!
In case of poor weather conditions (not enough snow), we have set March 9th as a back up date. The decision will be made February 4th whether or not we have sufficient snow to run our event!
