Adult Learn to Ski

Registration will open July 5, 2022 at 8am

Adult Learn to Ski is an on snow adult learn-to-ski and ski skill improvement program coached by CANSI certified instructors.

We are offering three options for ski instruction this year:

Intro to Cross Country Skiing will focus on the basic building blocks of ski technique.  If you are new to skiing, very tentative with any part of skiing, or have not done any lessons/technique drills in past, this is a great class for you.  These classes will start with classic skiing, and if there is interest, offer some instruction in skate skiing later in the season.

We will also offer Technique Improvement classes.  These classes will build on the foundations learned in Intro to Cross Country skiing, starting with the same drills, but going further into making your ski technique more efficient and effective.  Classes will start with classic skiing, but if there is interest, skate skiing may be offered later in the season.

Intro to Skate Skiing.  This class only focuses on skate skiing – skate skis/boots/poles are a requirement.  Some classic ski experience is recommended.
