This program is built for intermediate and advanced skiers who want to improve their fitness and ski technique in both classic and skating styles in a fun group atmosphere. Group training and varied sessions build motivation. The typical evening involves ski-specific drills to focus on an aspect of skiing followed by a workout to build endurance.
The program will build toward peak ski efficiency and endurance for the Cookie Race. Racing in the AB cup series and other local loppets is encouraged. Waxing support will be provided for group members who wish to race. This program is targeted at (but not limited to) parents of families who are already skiing at confederation park.
1 set each of skate and classic gear is recommended.
