    Sophie

Sophie has been skiing for as long as she can remember, and doing so with Foothills since she was 9. Since then, she has loved racing at the provincial and national level, especially the long distance races. She is now thrilled to be able to continue skiing competitively while pursuing a neuroscience degree at the University of Calgary. Some of Sophie’s favourite things are cross-country skiing, stating the obvious, repeating herself, and cross-country skiing.

    Aiden

Hello I’m Aiden, I’m from Grande Prairie, Alberta. My home club is Wapiti Nordic. I’ve been skiing since I was 3 years old, when my parents threw me on skis. I began racing when I was 8 and never looked back. Last year I moved down to Calgary to pursue a degree in biology at the University of Calgary, while continuing to ski with Peak. My favourite place to ski is Canmore! I also enjoy xc running and exploring the mountains!

  • Gavan

Hello my name is Gavan. I have been skiing with foothills nordic since I was around 7 and am now a member of the PEAK team. I am also on the orienteering national team and study chemistry at the University of Calgary.
