Policies, Conduct & Bylaws

Foothills Nordic Ski Club operates under its official Bylaws and established policies to ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for all members. Our policies cover key areas such as refunds, transportation, minor athlete supervision, accommodations, event meals, and cost-sharing for FNSC-organized events.

All members participating in Foothills Nordic practices or events are expected to contribute positively to the group and adhere to the Codes of Conduct set by Foothills Nordic Ski Club, Cross Country Canada, and Biathlon Canada.

Safe Sport

Our commitment to Safe Sport helps create a supportive and inclusive sports community where everyone can participate with confidence.

Safe Sport ensures a safe, fair, and positive environment for athletes, coaches, and stakeholders by promoting respect, sportsmanship, and integrity in sports. It is achieved through key measures such as screening coaches and volunteers, establishing codes of conduct, providing education and training, implementing reporting and investigation procedures, and enforcing disciplinary actions when necessary.
