Welcome to Foothills Nordic Ski Club – Calgary’s Premier Ski Community!

Founded in 1964, Foothills Nordic Ski Club (FNSC) is a dynamic, not-for-profit organization dedicated to cross-country skiing and biathlon at all levels. With over 900 members, ranging from beginners like Jackrabbits and Biathlon Bears to High-Performance athletes and recreational Masters skiers, we are proud to support the full spectrum of the nordic community. Our thriving club is powered by a dedicated 9-member Governance Board, a 9-member Operational Board, around 70 skilled coaches (paid and volunteer), and over 200 active volunteers. FNSC is also a leader in hosting major events and races in Calgary and the Bow Valley. As an 8-time Canadian National Cross-Country Aggregate Club Champion, we are proud members of Nordiq Canada, Nordiq Alberta, Biathlon Canada, and Biathlon Alberta. Join us to be part of a proud legacy of skiing excellence!
