We know many folks are itching to get out skiing! The City of Calgary just wound down golf operations for the season on October 29, which means that we are not quite ready to groom at Confederation Park Golf Course. Equipment is being moved in and site preparations are underway. Trails will be rolled and packed as soon as next week, but the snow base is currently insufficient for machine track setting.
Confederation Park Golf Course is open to the public though and skiers are welcome to set their own classic ski track. We ask that walkers, snowshoers, and skate skiers stay off all packed and rolled trails at this time.
Ski Confederation is brought to you by many dedicated volunteers. If you love skiing in Calgary and want to get involved – snow harvesting, grooming or snow making – reach out at [email protected]!
