The 40th annual Kananaskis Ski Marathon, better known as the Cookie Race, took place on Saturday February 25, 2017 under blue skies in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. Perfect weather and excellent tracks made for fast conditions, with the winners finishing the 42 km course ten minutes faster than last year’s winners. A total of 513 participants took part, supported by 133 volunteers and fueled by thousands of homemade cookies.
