Registration’s open now for Cookie Race ’19

Come for perfect snow and tracks, stay for the cuisine!

As long as a full marathon, or short as half a K,

The racing’s fine, the sun will shine, the cookies always slay.

It’s the superbowl of club events, the biggest of the year.

And this time you have a chance to buy a little souvenir.

Cast your eye upon the mock-up images below,

That toque will turn some heads in school or up at the chateau!

You can order swag if you sign up to race by February 1.

(That’s also when the fees go up – a little, not a ton.)

We’ll ask each member family to bake a dozen cookies or more,

And to pull it off without a hitch takes volunteers galore.

So please consider helping out; we promise you’ll have fun.

It’s a first-class operation, though the poetry’s homespun.
