The Tour of Canada will be in Canmore this week with races Tuesday (sprints), Wednesday (skiathlon), Friday (skate race) and Saturday (pursuit). Come out and CHEER on our Canadian and Foothills racers!

Longtime Foothills member, Jesse Cockney, had a super-speedy sprint day at the World Cup in Quebec City on Friday. On a day where fellow Canadian Alex Harvey won silver in the 1.7Km Free Sprint race, Jesse had his best international result in a few years. Jesse placed 10th overall for his best ever World Cup result. An Interview with Jesse is available.

Kevin Sandau and Ivan Babikov had good races on the previous Tour stage on Thursday. In the 17.5K mass start classic race, Ivan came 29th and scored important World Cup points and Kevin was 53rd in field of 84, the 5th best Canadian.
